MILITARY ELECTRONICS
KCI has successfully integrated, tested, and deployed large scale military systems. By working closely with our customers through implementation and test, we have deployed several military systems to our customer’s satisfaction. We also provided personnel training on the systems design, function, and operation. We believe that customer involvement during all project phases is key to a system that is successful and meet the users’ needs into the future.
AIRBORNE ELECTRONICS
The world of airborne electronics requires attention to detail, minimization, and safety. KCI has overcome the complex problems that arise when dealing with electronics in the airborne environment. Rigorous environmental, EMI, and safety requirements take the care of experienced professionals to pass qualification. We are also familiar with the deployment of custom firmware and software under the scrutiny of military and federal regulating agencies.
LOW POWER-SENSING SYSTEMS
Highly dispersed sensing systems to provide valuable performance and environmental data have become more common in recent years. Unfortunately readily available power sources are not easy to come by. KCI has developed sensing systems capable of running 5+ years on commercially available batteries or indefinitely on energy harvesting solutions.
ENGINE CONTROLS
Managing the power and controls necessary to efficiently run a combustion or electric motor can be very complex. KCI has developed FPGA based control algorithms to deal with the many outputs necessary to keep an engine in check. This combined with a micro controller solution and suite of sensors insures that your high power actuation system with be running smoothly for years to come.
